Does anyone else have these issues as a PGm?? I get allot of people on my server who like to troll and act ignorant towards me... is it jealousy? or just trolling to be trolling? IDK, but I am curious if any other PGm's have this issue with people trolling you, harassing and calling names....

Yeah, happens to me all the time. Even though I'm not a PGM in this game, I have experience in other games being a PGM. And, from my experience, it's a bit of both. Some people troll because they wanted the position and weren't chosen, so they try to make you look bad so that they get you fired and they have a chance to take your place. Other times (and more frequently), people troll just to be trolls. They just wanna get on your nerves to see if you'll actually do anything about it. Usually a couple of warnings sorts them out. Either way, if they are jealous or otherwise, do your job as a PGM fairly and impartially. Get used to it, it comes with the territory.

I'll be the first to say the PGM system is broken, and very few PGM's if any are actually  qualified for the job, I'm trying to get it all taken care of. The process of getting them to change out unworthy PGM's has been slow, but I'm efforting on it.

As for those who are good PGM's, well, you are going to get trolls. I get them daily on these forums, and on my server. Sometimes I lose my cool because they are really good at getting under people's skin, on purpose.   Just do the best you can, and report to Cyrus or Charlie, as much as you can. Yes they sometimes never reply or aren't around but, they do get the messages.

That's an unfair thing to say to those of us who do our job.
Though a lot of those people on that list, I know for a fact do not do their job and I will see to it they are removed. Especially a certain someone on one of the first server who has no right to be a PGM and hid his identity from support.

well idk what the pgm job is but im hoping it has nothing to do with chat. cause if pgm's start bein a chat referee im definitely gonna quit this game. the only appeal this game has is the fun bs chats we have. other then that idc. in our server everyon helps each other we kno its hard doin bb and ab so were there to help everyone even the lil guys. and if someone needs advice everyone there to help make that player stronger. i post shyt tons of forum post showin bugs and no one reads that. if they did the simple problems would have been fixed by now. like cancelling in bb battles and the rest of achievements. so if im not bein hear i kno pgms arent so what are they supposed to be doing? if its to moderate chat we dont need one in my server cause were happy with out that.

500 coupons is a bonus, but i don't think you would even do the job they have to do for those measely 500 coupons a month.

Well sorry, but that's what they are, chat mods, basically. They are also there to report to the support staff , issues with players who need actions taken against them, same as I do, and same as I do on these forums.

As for your bug posts, it may be just the fact they don't read them, or the fact they don't have time to fix it.

Sadly it doesn't matter if you want one or not, it's not up to you to decide.

Things will get done when they can do them, I don't know what else to say about it, it's not going to speed anything up.

I'm wondering if getting tags for the PGMs would help; although there is a downside to that, it would allow other players to know who the PGM is and that s/he should be treated with a little more respect.

The PGM's job is to help players who have questions about the game. Prevent chat from getting out of hand. Which if everyone is having fun jokingly insulting each other but no raging is going on it is no big deal. But if racism and other stuff that might start making it an unpleasant conversation start getting into play they are responsible for trying to settle the conversation down which if it doesn't then they have the choice of if it is bad enough to report it to the Admins or not. So Chat referee might be a little over the top to call them but the best way to put it is they are a Figure Head Game Moderator. They do everything a GM does without having any of the power directly. It is GoGames admins that are responsible to decide if the PGM's decision warrants actual punishment or not.

It's funny how you accuse them of such things yet you have the sane Print screen button power they have. If you're trolling them in Clan chat it means you're trying to be sneaky about the whole trolling thing to reduce the level of awareness in the situation.

Well that really depends on if you want to have arguments with a specific person in your server everyday. Also PGMs report bugs and other information.

It couldn't be that your constantly babbling about how awesome you are,  or how every one who beats you has always just  topped up again, for the 300th time? or the fact that you failed to even read the Terms of Service? it couldn't be that some other player just might be better then you. it couldn't possibly be that you're the problem not them? this is the problem with people today. they always have excuses that they can rely on to make them feel better about them selves. so with that said when can they get rid of this Devil on US 45 and Sexkitten on US64 for breaking the ToS?  most every one on US server 64 has  this person on block but a guild member that hadn't sent me this.   Sexkitten sold there account to Devil who in doing so both broke the ToS. as per the ToS in this section here.

JoyFun does not recognize the transfer of our Games accounts or JoyFun accounts. You may not purchase, sell, gift or trade any account, or offer to purchase, sell, gift or trade any account, and any such attempt shall be null and void. You agree that you have no right or title in or to any such content, including without limitation the virtual goods or currency appearing or originating in the Game, or any other attributes associated with any account.

Again the screenshot has this person admitting to breaking the ToS. the funny thing is after this screen shot was taken some one mentioned it was against the terms of service to buy and sell accounts and Sexkitten then spent the next 5 mins explaining that its not against the Terms of Service in world chat. further proving their ignorance about the game and the rules. if they do not even know the guidelines, how on earth would any one think they are capable of being a PGM  it appears this person is just a extremely misinformed  and should not be in any position of power on any server.

the thing is if i dont want to talk to someone i put them on block. that solves the issue there. and everyone reports bugs constantly anyways so that takes care of the need for a phm to do that. plus they dont even fix the bugs that get reported.

The whole point of being a staff is to be calm at all times, ignore people who say bad things to you and protect the interest of the Company you are working for, "even if you know its not doing a great job". Concerns such as these should not be taken public and should just be discussed on a private channel like Skype or I dunno what you guys use to converse on in-game matters then report it to the administrators.

It's like volunteering to perform on a stage with lots of audience, confident that you can get everyone's approval, yet there will always be different opinions.

I will say this. I hope that Charlie or whoever is in charge investigates the competency of current PGMs and removes the inadequate ones and maybe take disciplinary action if necessary.
Conversely, those that falsely accuse others should also be disciplined. I hope it's soon too, because that thread has not been updated in too long.
I keep seeing Devil's name pop up. Either way, the guilty party will be uncovered eventually, the administrators have chat logs. Lying is pointless.
We also need PGMs for servers that don't have them as well.
I have applied to be one, and will act professionally. I can be polite even when people don't understand the answer the first time, can you say the same for yourselves?

This is the kind of stuff a PgM does? For one, he doesn't even have a clue who that is and he just throws out names. Second, he loves to hint at getting someone banned if they dare to call him on it. If they don't ban him for buying an account and they have let him get free coupons for being known as "the server troll" (I did not bestow that, it is just a common server moniker most use when referencing him) rather than helping answer people's questions and FAIRLY moderate chat, then they aren't banning anyone. So you, Devil, may knock off the baseless accusations.

lol being Vip is far from violating ToS nice try though.   But constantly harassing me, trolling me, and cussing me for being a PGm is.  to be honest 500 coupons isn't allot for the petty childish stuff you guys continously do.
