How does the new event "Ultra Hero" work?

No, it uses up the points, although the description can be misunderstood that only one zanp/partner can be redeemed from the whole event regardless of points.

Im playing at Shini.. one of my guildmate felt been cheated. The event didnt show much description. so he top up 1600 inorder to get 1600 point to exchange d.rukia in ultra hero event. After he get the d.rukia.. wtf.. she got expiry date. WTF..

I topped up 2800 to get Hyorinmaru. There is no expiration date on it. After I claimed Hyorinmaru I used all my points.

Someone else on my server topped up 2000 and got D.Rukia and he also topped up another 4000 and got Shini Yoru. So you can get more than hero from the event.

So basicly, it became a top up event, instead of a gold spending event? not bad...

Each and every gold you topup gives you one and only one point.
You can use these points to buy any character/hero or Zanpaktou you like but just like anything regarding money so is one spent point one spent dollar (or whatever your currency is).
The bonus gold from topping up does not count so topping up 400 gold + 80 for topping up is still just 400 points.
Nor will rebate (gogames have 50% and playshiny have 100%) count into this.
Only the topped up amount will count and as said one used point is one used point period, your amount will decrease.
