Question about Anniversary Feast

I just wanted to quickly know if in Anniversary feast lets say a partner is 12k gold can i just top up 8k gold and get the 50% rebate and add the extra 4k and then just spend all 12k.  Will that still unlock that partner for me , or do i have to top up 12k right from the start?

its a spend event, as long as you have the 12k to spend you can get that partner you want

Topping up any amount will not count towards Anniversary Feast

Spend 12,8k for stones, refresh and open all shells.

Thus, you can have 4 x lvl 10 stones and a 12k Partner by spending 13k gold. Pretty awesome
