Partner Modification

So is there a limit of how many partners you can modify. I modified my regular partners and one event partner. Was trying to modify my second event partner and a new partner i got from tavern and all it says is "Cannot Challenge". I refreshed, relogged, tried about everything doesnt seem to work. Any help would be appreciated

you can only enter cultivating dojo on 5 partners a day unless u buy another chance for 20X gold/cupons.

when i go into my dojo i expect there to be chinese ppl fighting
