It all depends on your team and how you want your group to develop. I personally have yachiru for Pve and getting chad for Pvp

dont bother with marechiyo if you can get the one of the others. if you want a dodge partner go for yachiru, chad for defensive.

To consolidate what others have mentioned:

Your argument is between Chad / Yachiru.  Let's look at your level - Chad requires 40. Yachiru requires 60.  If you are sub 60, Chad is a solid pick.

Benefits of Each:
Chad - Can acquire at 40. Stacking block makes him a tank that retaliates. Block allows you to take reduced dmg and return some to the opponent.
Yachiru - Higher lvl (my choice until Sajin Komamura).  Dodge. There is a lot of debate here, but it comes down to how other players react to it.

If are a VIP player and have some great dodge spirit stones, I vote for Yachiru.  If a character dodges in this game (which is countered by Hit Stones) then the attacker gains 0 fury as well as you take 0 dmg.  You don't retaliate dmg, but you more or less can prolong the enemy skill attacks.

I've seen both used all the way up to 80, just think out what you want to do and plan accordingly.  Best of luck.

Yasutora Sado is better overall but Yachiru has a slight advantage in PVP purposes if you equip him with high level dodge stones in early levels coz after that most of the high level players has a high hit rate.

I picked chad and skipped yachiru. Went straight for lvl 70 toons.
