Buying Characters

Hi, as i am new to the game, i would like to ask whats the best event to buy an character?
As of now im running:
Kukaku, Hikifune, B.renji and smart nanao.
I have 50k gold to spend, so i would like to know which event i should be looking out for,

anniversary feast is a good one to spend on... however...  it is always sad when I see posts like this as you have most probably already failed intensely at this point...  with any larger top up, the rewards from the top up should be on par with or even better than what you can buy with the gold itself...   

that said...  with what you have said, you should NOT be purchasing another partner at this point...  instead you should grab some high level hogus (tier 12 and 13) Ryujin Jakka (if you don't already have him) high level ultimate equipment sets (or the individual pieces since you are lower level) to run through Shuntara's Shop...  ect...

there is much more to be power to be had than just top tier partners...  you could pick up some good partners for sure, however I feel that more power could be gained by strengthening the back bone of your team, rather than adding partners

If you are still looking for a good partner that you can probably pick up around 30k gold...  Haschwalt is great

next events it looks like you can pick up B Toshi and B Shun on the cheap...  check Rythan's post about them for more info on that one

i suggest getting either b toshiro or b shinsui next evnt (not both) that'll leave you with enough to get RJ once he comes in a good event, and you should be able to save up for muken with that team pretty easily.

make sure the events you are spending on reward you, like if you spend 20k to get a good partner you'll also be getting stones, hogu, talismans, accessores etc.

What Mylar said is technically the same as I would suggest. It doesn't matter what kind of partners you would have, without any backbone to your team, you will be just as weak.

I have RJ, most of my spirit stones are lvl 10-11, im only lvl 82.
My hikifune got lvl 12 agility and lvl 11 wisdomu hogus.
My Kukaku got lvl 13 power hogu
Berserk Renji has lvl 11 strength hogu.
Mm, if you buying in anniverasy feast isn't a little bit expensive for newer characters as its 50-60k? or thats how much they go for?

if u want owning at VR sdt kokuto valk muken/hvi, if u want pvp kokuto twbyakuya hvi valk

in that case, pick up the perfect couple in the next events, they should be about 20k gold each and are both top tier supports

Shouldn't he rather invest in hiv instead mylar? I mean he could prolly replace nanao with him, nd he got the gold for it... I dunno though so share your thoughts man

Hvi is for sure a monster, but this cat will surely pick up Muken in a hurry, making HVI kind of overkill in most events...  however in perfect couple B Toshi and B Shun (I believe) will be about 20k gold each...  that price is unreal and we won't see it again for quite a long while

if he were to spend it all on one partner, wouldn't it be more wise to wait for next time the new byaukua shows up and pick him up instead as he easily looks like the most broken thing to date

That's what i was thinking, how often is new char re-released after its introduced?
As i am playing in different platform, so we don't have byakuya yet.
