I have started the game nearly 3 months ago. And I 100% F2P. I have been hearing that u could get units/zanpakto from UBP as a f2p. Which are the units/ zanpakto that i should be focusing on getting from that event. How much vit do i need to get one?

Usually you would need about 10k to 9k vit for the partners an zan in the event.
Right now if you save up like close to 20k vit you could get yourself Ryujin jakka from this Christmas UBP

To be on a safe side you would need 12k vit for 40k crystals or 15k vit for 50k crystals. Best ubp partners for f2p player would be those who help to power up muken aizen. Pay attention to modify list: some of the most useful options would be smth like "Add 12% attack to all allies" "Increase all allies' speed by 10%" "When being attacked, have 100% chance to decrease enemy Vanguard and Assaulter's fury by 15." "When being killed, restore all allies' fury by 100" and so on. In other words - auras(halo), on getting hit, on being killed.

For a 40,000 Crystal Ultimate Battle Power reward, you require around 10,810 Vitality.
There is no assurance of a reward other than the 40,000 Crystal reward in any Ultimate Battle Power as far as I know, however, saving for a 80,000 Crystal reward may be wise still (as Ryujin Jakka is really good).
You can save Vitality by
doing the daily 5 beauty games each day,
doing the daily partying (all available chances) with your girlfriend (in Home),
getting the 40 vitality from Seireitei Restaurant each day (it comes at two different times a day, 20 each time),
and lastly, you can get vitality for the extra 5 beauty games you get every 3 days for signing in continuously.

I have currently 654 vit. I don't think i could  get 12k before christmas event.
