guys one question

how i can get more defense in my vanguard?
what stat is defense??
Streng= defense?, wisdorm= defense?

i dont understand how i can get more defense what stat is denfense? (vanguard)

Defense have 2 kind of defense: physical defense and strategy defense ( kidou)
if you increase strength, you will increase physical def.
if you increase wisdom, you will increase strategy defense.
you can see the detail stats on your partners info

Both are. If you mouse over the value for Physical/Strategy Defense in your Team Info (Partner) window, it tells you that they are affected by Strength and Wisdom, respectively. Fortifying your headband and armor for physical, and cloak for strategy also helps, especially when using the infuse spirits from Seireitei Soul Palace wisely. A vanguard that is based on boosting defense with both his passive talent and his in-battle skill is Komamura Sajin available in the Level 70 tavern. He takes whatever defense you give him and increases it by a significant amount. He is arguably lousy for PvP compared to Shinji, but geared right he is almost unparalleled in PvE even compared to Level 90 (Nnoitora - has increased stamina; Aids assaulters)/100 (Starrk - increases strength, attacks all, increases block, and heals self)/110 (Visored Ichigo - same as Starrk but Aids assaulters instead of +block, and only attacks vanguard), with Ichigo being the vanguard considered close to Sajin in terms of tankiness.

Remember: Wisdom spirit stones on a vanguard doesn't do much alone. They don't have the best wisdom growth, so improved Hogu and stuff helps a lot.

strenght is for physical def and attack wisdom for stratgy defense and attack
