Something I just found out and was shocked about it.

I was lookig atsome info about this bleach game ad the prices of gold and found out a very shocking thing.

In the chiva server if they buy 1000 gold it cost them 25 yuan which if converted to usd is 16.60 that is close to a 9 dollar difference, and in the same aricle they said it can be as much as a 15 usd difference.
I was shocked by the fact that GoGames set old prices by the region you live in. That means that some regions pay more for gold then other regions do.

Why would the company do that, charge 1 server more money then other servers for the same exact ammount of gold?

It's because it's an international game/publisher, these are always more expensive.
If the game was only playable in certain parts of the world they would have to adjust the prices to people their income. Since this is not the case they can just do whatever or take a certain average between all the continents.

I can give you another example.
If you buy GTA5 in EU or NA it will cost around 50-60 bucks. If you buy it in Brazil it's only 29 bucks. Of course this seems unfair but you have to remember people in EU/NA make more money than a person in BR or CN does.

I can understand what you mean, if they do it that way they should also take into concideration that not everyone in a region makes the same amount of money.

If they wanted to maxumize the money they could make, they should set gold at 1 price for every region.
I for sure would top up much more often if the gold prices were more reasonable but knowing other regions get more gold for the same amount of money I pay is a huge turn off.

I think they are already making a lot of money.. or else we wouldn't see a new server everyday.

Well seeing as its only about 30 dollars per server to open them its not that expencive at all.

But that is besides my point.

My point was that people would be more enticed to top up if gold was valued differently.
Me personally if i could get the same amount of gold for my money that the cn servers get, i would top up much more often then i do now.

Also all of the non vip players in my server agree, if we paid the same as the china servers for gold, they would be vip 5 or vip 7 by now.

So having say 10 people per server top up is better then say 3 or 4 people top up, because it makes them more money.
