Bond Training - help!

So take a look at the screenshot, and you can see where I am currently at in Bond Training.  If anyone who has a star that I don't have (except for final stage), if you could post some tips or your strategy I would appreciate it greatly.  I only need 1 more star to increase my daily training amount.  I have beat some of the challenges meeting the 'listed' criteria to win a star, however we all know the descriptions are bullshit and don't always acurately or completely list what the real requirements are ... so I am hoping some peeps out there have beaten some of the challenges I haven't and can give me some advice.

I honestly had no problems following the descriptions, I have completed everything up to 9. You just gotta play around and it's a lot easier if you have a legit T1.
Other than that the only thing I can suggest is turning your zanpakuto on and off.

One of the star requirements is 2 male and 2 female survive, besides your main.  I've done that one and had Rukia/Shini Yoruichi and Kenpachi/Kisuke survive, why wouldn't that complete it?  I've also made it so that only 2 male and 2 female survived and my main died.  I've also tried different 2 male / 2 female combos just in case it had someone like Starrk flagged as a non-male etc.

Right now almost all of the star challenges I have left involve certain gender partners surviving and certain amount.  I have beaten the challenges meeting all of the criteria only to still not have it completed.  If it was as simple as just following the instructions, I would also be completed and not posting here for help   I have toggled the zanpakuto on/off to complete other challenges that required % damage be calculated for main, but in these cases it does not apply.

I am 3 fury stones away from legit T1, although I don't know how much that would help with these scenarios, only in the ones requiring main to do majority damage/take minimal damage.
