Okay, so, lets assume that Shinigami Kensei IS NOT bugged, and his disarm keeps the evil spirit from skilling, and that is how it is supposed to work, and that is the way it will stay...
Am I wrong to assume that SWP Toshi should do the same thing if you can keep him skilling before the disarm wears off of the evil spirit as Toshi's disarm is also 100%? I have not tested this yet, but will this week and will post my results here.
If it is another skill Kensei has that is doing it, please let me know so I can test it as well!! I'm just starting to think the "Kensei Bug" may not be a bug as the devs have not done anything about it, even tho they have addressed the evil spirit since then...

really? okay, last I heard, BWG said the fights still last 20 rounds. thanks for the update!! too bad my toshi can't OP my rivals in ES

I am not sure if it is fixed or not. I do notice very large jumps in my damage on occassion that are out of the ordinary. Could just be a string of lucky combos or something though.

Its definitely fixed. My guild member was doing around 2x my damage to ES before the patch and now does between 1/2 - 3/4 my damage.
