An honest question

Hmm before I go into the meat of this thread, just have a newbie question or two to ask.

1.  The protection stone for spirit infuseing gear, The text sorta ends before saying how many times I need to purchase it.  So, how many times DO I actually have to purchase the stone for all the gear of that level?  

2.  Are these, or even the next set of events worth topping up at all on?  

Now for the real question.  Ill be honest im a newb at this game, both in char and knoweledge, and ive probably spent about 200 so far, chump change im aware to many of you.  My question is, if in reality if I only spend like 30-100 here and there, will I be able to do....well anything at the later game?  Im not expecting to be a super top tier player, im just wondering that if even with these weak amounts of cashing up, if Ill be able to actually do any high end stuff etc.  I get this games p2w, im just trying to understand a bit is all.

Instead of doing soemthing like that, save up 300 worth, top up during a nice set of events and get a solid partner like Berserk Renji or Hikifune.
The protection stone will last for every piece of equipment of that level forever. One time payment.

well heres the thing, im not exactly at the financial level were I can do that, as I said..a bit here and there is fine, but 300 or so in a single volley just isnt feasible right now, real lifes being a real jerkoff.

1. Infuse protection stone is there perma. So you buy it once and infuse with it all the gears.
2. You just gotta decide what you want and which event is best for that.

This game is playable even with f2p. So playing while paying is even more playable right? 30-100 is not rly weak amount of cash IMHO. So go for it. Hang in there

I'm saying save it up. So instead of spending 50-100 every now and again, spend nothing till you have saved up enough to spend 300.
It'll be much more beneficial.

Well I did kinda splurge already...got Toshi van..hyourinmaru, sogyo, and the bankai renji xD.

But 300 in one shot isnt as easy as you'd think, from my end at least.  my money flucuates, so what I have is what I can spend at that moment.  I could save, but the moeny may, well have to be used for other things at times ^^;
