do you loose modify frags when you dismiss a partner , for example if i dismiss my ishin , which is level 102. And than hire him at my current level.. will i loose th emodify frags i already have ???

their level will reset though, I believe. Tavern partners anyway.

No you don't, if you check the Mod and check your partners you would see that they still have the frags even if they are dismissed.
Happened to me once i accidentally dismissed Shunsui

Well I dont have many partners and I still have frags for them (soul cultivation). Plus I dismissed tavern yoru ages ago. Then when I rehired her back 1 week ago I started out with 400 modify fragments. So yeah, I know for tavern partners it's fine. But I imagine if you've modified them you lose that.

In the same way you can have mod frag for partners that you don't have in events or soul cultivation
