I now see the importance of speed in PVP, but...

My Nemu is now the fastest one in my CSB group.  I sacrificed most of my agility stones from other partners to give to her.  I was slower than a few others until I did that, I would win some and lose some depending on RNG.
I am faster than the number 1, but I can't kill his Vanguard.  Nemu 1 shots the rest of his group, but we barely scratch the vanguard.  Is having full evo needed for a vanguard, my Ichibe seems super squishy.  I have all rank 10 Strength stones, but his Pdef is less than my Mayuri's by 34k.  Ichibe's Sdef is slightly higher, but only because Mayuri has 2 wisdom stones(both rank 6) and Ichibe has 6 stones and they are rank 8's and 9's.  I'm starting to wonder how to get my defense up, since it seems really low.

Ichibei is an hp type vanguard not a def type vanguard. His strength lies in his massive hp and his heal that heals based on current hp. That's what you should focus on for ichibei

His HP is 800k to Mayuri's 500k, so in that area is he good.  Besides the CSB, I'm stuck in King of Hollow Souls on the first Gin fight.  The damage I take is too high even when I shift best stones, Hogyoku's and Hogu's to 1 person.  I thought reincarnation would help, but I still take too much damage.

His HP can potentially go a lot higher than that.

Defense can still help, though, if you have it since he has some defensive mods.

comparing the hp on your vanguard to the hp on one of your assaulters should not be how you determine good or not. What level are you by the way? Kind of hard to understand your stats without knowing your level

Here is my main 3.  My Senjumaru doesn't have 4th mod for speed yet and her gear isn't as good right now.

did i just read that your vanguard has higher wisdom stones than your nemu?   Either way,  much like you nerfed everyone else to make her faster, you should always be tempted to nerf your other support(s) to up her wisdom stones, critical stones, break defense, ect...   as for vanguards...  pve partners are a good option (and you already have them up to level).  Bankai Rukia is of course the best choice if you have 40,000 gold laying around  Tenjiro is another good choice as he is naturally very fast, hits very hard, and if everyone else is already dead, he will always hit the vanguard, removing his randomness.  Also, one of the first skills on the main (#2 i believe) reduces defense, and may be a good choice on god-vangs

edit: Senjumaru will help you a lot, IMO, once you get her up to level and evoed some, try her out with nemu's equiment to see which you like more...

No, my Nemu has all rank 10 wisdom stones.  I meant when I've tried to get past the first Gin fight I have even tried shifting stones and stuff around to beat the solo fight.  I've tried Nemu, Senjumaru, Mayuri, Ichibe, main, Retsu Kenpachi, Brenji and Brukia.  Mayuri and Ichibe are the only ones that can survive 2 hits.
