YAMAMOTO'S SPEED

Is it true what they say that yamamot is slow?  Slow compared to whom?  I wanted to get him but people have told me he's slow.  Is this really true?
In any case if I get him Id go 1-3-1 and switch out my shinigami uruhara for him so he has to skill and cast fury restrain on enemy team before they skill, so they don't recover fury, is this possible?  Or is yamamoto not fast enough.

Well he is the slower OP character after Ulquiorra R2. Csb Byakuya is faster and pretty much any other good event assaulter is faster than him.

He is fast enough. There are characters faster then him, but the question should be how many are faster then him and can CC him? There aren't a lot of those ( but they do exist ).

Even when that is the case, he has one of the most valuable Mod's in the game at Tier 4. Even if he only existed to make another character have 10% more speed, it would be well worth it.

That's what I'd like to know, how many and who are faster than him.  In any case I'd like to know if he's faster than tavern partners at least, say gin, kisuke or aizen.  I don't think he's faster than aizen.  But maybe faster than uryuu at least.  

The way I see it, yamamoto hits like a heavy truck, and moves like a heavy truck.

He got better agi and growrth rate than all of the tavern partners.

Thing is with him and isshin, then you'd have to find a way to distribute it out, because isshin needs a lot of speed, plus I need speed for my kisuke, for T1.  So if you add yama here, to the picture, it can get a bit more complicated, to make him fast enough, if you're focusing your speed in 2 characters, and if you add yama to the mix, it turns to 3.
