Should I just get Tensa?

So the FB servers just got Tensa like last week or the week before, should I just get him now and get Katen later? I mean if it takes just as long for us to get Katen then that means she won't be added for another like 6-8 months. I see no reason on waiting when I can just do another top up when the time comes.


Edit: I have a little over 105k Gold from winning UC. I already have Hiki, Oetsu, Ichibie, Koga, and Main. I was planning on picking up some level 110 sets, Tier 12 Hogu (First time FB has gotten them I believe, though I might just skip them since I have several Tier 11 +10s already that I can upgrade on the next Breakthrough) and Tensa. Should still have around 40k left after all of that. I might pick up Senju the next time I see her as well. So ultimately I'll still have 20k+ that I can hold on to. With that in mind, do you think it's worth just grabbing him for the huge boost he will give my team? (I'm still running Jizo with only level 15 Fortify, saved over 20k Conquests for my next Zan).

Yeah already grabbed him lol. Jumped from 1.3mil to almost 1.6mil after fortifying him, was able to get all 40+ and almost 50 on Speed from the Conquest Frags I saved.

No idea how behind Facebook servers are but if you plan on running senjumaru and hikifune Katen would be ideal especially if you can get at least phase 2 fortify. On the other hand you need a new zanpakuto and if Katen is 6-8 months that is a very long time. Looking at Tensa Zangetsu the damage rate for 3 rounds is really nice for Ryoka/Evil Spirit and the speed gain is great for PVP. Regardless you couldn't go wrong win either but if you have t1 on a couple of partners then Katen is the winner without question. I probably wouldn't wait 6 months for Katen. I would get Tensa and if I really planned on it I would pick up Katen at a later date unless you are still doing great with a tensa by that time.

Well it took over a year for us to get Tensa, so I assume we won't see Katen until New Years or so. I'll just top up another 20k or hold onto my 50k I have left until then. I'll probably get Senju whenever I see her, which I still haven't in almost 2 months now. My Hiki is over 300k Speed at level 103, got a level 23 Ultimate Speed Frag with all the pills I gained, grabbed a couple Quality 12 Hogus and was able to push all my Tensa Fortify to over 40. I think Tensa was worth it for sure, went from 1.2mil BP to almost 1.6mil, not to mention the Stones I got from all the level 7 boxes. I was able to max out all stats on all partners. Running full sets of level 8-10 stones on all partners now. From what I can see, I'm the only player on 30+ servers that has Tensa or T1 lol.

Then picking up tensa is a great idea, especially for extra damage on daily activities, I doubt you would want to hold out for 6 months with a muramasa (unless your vanguard is more stacked that a british shit house) or a hyorinamaru if you are just looking for some speed for supports.
