need to select the best assaulter

my current formation is a 1-3-1, with sado- main/ichigo/lisa - momo

am lvl 61, with bp 164k. so far am doing good, the ones above me in arena are of level 75+.

so i was thinking if to go with a 1-2-2 formation so that the tougher guys would if at one kill would take out one line and that would include the least number of attackers, hence the 3 to 2 assaulter.

if so then i would need to keep a single assaulter. i also have renji with me

so from ichigo, lisa and renji which would be a good assaulter to have till level 80?

level 80 because i am thinking of getting another stunner to be with momo(correct me if there is a better strategy in this). i am not leaning towards a healer, i would want another supporter with momo who attacks.

Renji would probably be the best since he has the most stable damage output. He's pretty good for events and his fury skill is great as well. I sure got a lot more damage once I started using him instead of Matsumoto.
Most people eventually replace Renji and take Ikkaku later on.
If you do this you will have 3 great assaulters for events.

I was doing the same formation till lvl70, and i was basically in the same situation in arena (the 4 players ahead of me were 5 to 6 lvls more), I changed my formation from a 1 3 1 to 1 2 2, the downside it took me few days to take back the BP I lost, but i managed to take down the 4th ranked arena which i never could do with the previous formation (BP isn't everything in PVP). All this to say it is manageable.

Also i see you're a momo player in supp, so the best gold supp to associate with her is yoruichi, since you'll stun assaulters and supporters, leaves you the vg to kill. You have to know that sometimes due to lvl difference in PVP the stun can't trigger everytime.

Also I kept Renji associated to my main, since he's the best dmg dealer untill lvl 80, you can recruit another gold partner in lvl70 (kensei), but i advise you to go for a vg since sado won't be apple to take on some pve tasks (hollow map activate at lvl70) and against strong gold dmg dealer.

My formation is this, Komaura, Main & Renji, Rukia/Inoue & Yoruichi

I'm near lvl80 and preparing for Ikkaku to replace renji

One last think, if you go for yoruichi to replace on of your assaulter, keep in mind she needs huge agility stones ( at least lvl7/8) and wisdom, she needs to be fast (even than main) to be usefull

i have gathered 1000 gold reishi now. so i dt think i will get another 1000 when i reach 70. so i have to chose the first gold partner carefully.

i think i will go with a better tank iff komomura is like twice better than chad. because my momo is the second strongest after my MAIN, so i can keep her for some more time i believe.

the good thing of upgrading the vg for me is that i dt need to forge/fortify new equipment. if i bring a new support i will need to forge a new rune and then fortify that, and add supporter based spirit stones which i dont have as i have stones for an assaulter. so yeah.

Komamura is definitly twice better than sado even more, so yeah go for it,

When i was on a 1.3.1 my ichigo had lvl7 agility spirits so i went for yoru np she's pretty fast

btw, i just realized i don't have enough purple reishi to recruit rukia. so it means i will be in a 1-3-1 till i either get rukia or till i become lvl 70. so in that case i will remove lisa and replace with renji as you all say he is better. (i have nemu but then making her from lvl 50 to lvl 60 will be a huge task and i wont be able to do it i suppose)

i was thinking lisa would be better to attack assaulters hence i had replaced renji with her.

but then why do you recommend renji over lisa as i am interested to know the details to understand more.

I chose renji instead of lisa for stamina purpose, lisa gets killed fast even with spirit stones, renji can last more, he's similar to the main in term of strengh ability, also i planned the 10 skill of main gonna take all supp and assaulter in 1 or 2 rounds, most o time the vanguard resists the shock so i needed an assaulter focusing on vanguard even after activating fury, that(s mainly why

Of course renji at lvl79 (my lvl) can't do shit, but he's still doing well in ryoka and evil spirit (100k per round)

For the purple reishi i you have also the ultimate BP event, you'll gain enough to recruit a purple partner, i  have already 300 purple reishi from it with 7k points in it.

So try to recruit rukia asap cuz she's a killer in pve combined with urahara and ikkaku your dmg will tripple in pve
