So, my Q is when the supporters do not have 100 fury does their attacks count as phy or str attacks? (as the animation show they dont do any kido attacks rather they go towards the enemy and hit them with the katanas )

If it's an assaulter or vanguard they deal physical attack (str) and if it's a supporter they deal kido (wis).

Auto attacks are dealt with whatever stat your character's WEAPON says it is.

Suppers use Runes.... Runes say they do Kidou damage (Kido is incorrect because the accent over the "o" means it's followed by a "u").

So... if it has a rune equipped it does Kidou damage with its auto-attack.

If they use a Kido weapon, the normal attack uses the strategy attack stat.

That is for the Physical Defense the stones give.

This helps them have physical defense which in turn lets them soak up more damage from assaulters and Vanguards
same thing vice Versa if you put wisdom on assaulters

mainly doing this to your VG would make them viable as a tank vs support partners but you need high level stones for it to work much compared to the attacker

Generally you dont really want to do that if anything you want something similar to this
basically this on all gear on a support and ifr you open up the last slot id put counter stones in it

Endgame is basically all about speed pvp wise and supports are for that purpose so support vs support you just need agility + wisdom stones + crit stones+ break defense
preferably T1 with some hit rate along with HP stones for survivability
