curious to what this zanpakutos rates are at hogyoku kai, I just got my year reward and want to see what its like at hogyoku kai first before getting it

Simply do not waste your coupons on this Zan, and just save up for the better and much promising upgrade of this Zan: Senbonzakura, who is seeming to make a common appearance in vitality events and will most likely make another appearance maybe this year once more ^^

Again, if you're going for Hozukimaru, that must surely mean Senbonzakura also fits your team, and is ofc much better

Spend your coupons on better things like stones, honestly Hozukimaru will be a waste :/ ^^

Edit: Really, I'm trying to say it is NOT a bad zanpakuto, it's still great when looking at it by itself, but with the release of Senbonzakura to vitality events/up for free, Senbonzakura is the legitmate direct upgrade to Hozukimaru, and honestly, there isn't really a point in obtaining Hozukimaru (with coupons too! Much more valuable than vitality) anymore whilst you can get his much better upgraded version, whilst also making yourself stronger by spending your coupons on much better things like stones ^^
