Modify Partner Clarifications

Hello Everyone,




  I have some concerns I'd like to voice really quickly.


Im trying to find out more about the Bonuses you get from the partners:
  - do they affect the entire party
  - is it just the specific partner (which I know can't be possible, when the Modifications can't apply to that partner)
  - do the bonuses stack or do they cancel each other out/go by the most powerful bonus of that type
    (example; a 5% bonus to atk would cancel out a 4% bonus to atk?)






I would like to spend more time modifying my partners if I can get some clarity on how this portion works!

1. They just affect the modified character
2. The modifications apply to only to the character that you modified and can't be transferred (If you need for clarification on this, let me know).
3. The bonuses do, in fact stack, since no character mods (with the exception being Sui-fon) have a modification in the same stat.

Sorry, but I've read Glasglow's thread before, and it does not contain any of this information. That is the exact reason why I asked the question myself.

It has everything to do with how Modify Partners operates, not the effects.

If these bonuses only affect the modified partner him or herself, that makes a huge difference for me

But I do still have on lingering question now - With Renji, for example, he does not have a Strategy Atk, but his Mods says they will boost Strategy ATK. That's must be wrong then. But... I doubt it would be left like that for good, so it begs the question - do they really only affect the partner, or the team.... >_<

Well, I can ease your mind by posting this, taken directly from Azrial's "lv - lv100 Tavern's partner guide version 1.2", which lists one of Renji's mod options as Strategy Def., instead of Strategy Atk.


I also know that other characters have incorrect printed mod options; however, when you unlock them, they add to the appropriate stat. For more information on characters and their mod options, see the link at the bottom. Credit for this guide goes entirely to Azrial and anyone who helped him in the creation.

In the case of renjis who is ghost blade strategy attack will increase his wisdom def which makes him less vulnerable to kido main.
