you need Lv140 or higher partners to stop the block chain. once you're Lv155-159 the block stops and your attack goes through without a problem

I'm at 4.3M BP and full tilt I get between 1 and 2M on all but that one dodgy bastard

You need enough dmg to make them still get hurt while blocking. Or be sneaky. Brenji and byakuya have death damage mods that do great damage in void. If you poison them or burn them they take damage. My van lasts 2-3 rounds which gives my burns more time to do dmg. Also try to get people that hit multiple guys. If you're going to get blocked might as well hit them all
