Nothing major, but if he is your main damage dealer, it's best to have at least the weapon with max level(114 for you).

Yeah, he's currently my main source of damage - once he's evo 9 I'm swapping to Kazeshini and my f ...

just a thought... most vangs are strong vs physical damage and much weaker vs kido damage... it's a good looking yama for sure, but he needs more raw power once you hinge your team off him with his full T1...
