So, just a simple question has anyone heard of when the cross-server battles might begin, or for that matter have a good idea as to when it might begin?

they might begin after the server merge begins ... that will be in about 3-4 months

I mean you have 3-4 months to get stronger before you have to fight people who have like 100k bp more than you.

1st. the merges isnt needed for inter serv tournament and 2nd.Tournament have brakets so its possible a big bp dif, but only like 1 to 5 levels of difference between players, so i dont think gonna be so large

nope he's actually quite low down on the bp rankings the top dogs have nearly 400k and are around lvl 80-85 so he would fight them that is if the eu happen to fight the us not sure about the strongest eu players and for the tournament I didn't post the time scale that was benjiji

EU wont fight US it doesnt make sense cuz they're different timezones.. atm there's nobody even close to me BP-wise on EU anyway ;-)
