if i rent yamamoto genryusai in Karakura town, and then i get permanent yamamoto genryusai from soul cultivation, what will happen with my expired yamamoto genryusai?

Nothing, they get merged into one, so if you rent yama and he's level 100, using the soul cult yama  ...

yama is crap...  tavern Byaukua with exclusive skill and death mod crushes him in 95% of places, including Void, ES, and Ryoka, which are by far the 3 biggest draws of rewards for 98% of the peeps in the game!!

Unless you are level 80 or below, he makes a great beginner partner. After you reach lvl 90 or above he can be replaced with the red tavern partners like red Byaukua. Hope this guy doesn't put everything on that yama, when he gets him

I have red byakuya now, but I'm not sure whether to use him instead of yama, but my yama already reached the last evo.

You should. It may take time to get him as the same lvl as your yama, but once you do, he will show better results than the yama in pve and also pvp too.

yes and no...  if you run cute orihime, then yes, no worries at all...  however if you don't have enough block stones for all your assaulters, and you don't run cute orihime (why wouldn't you tho?) the Kenpachi's block bonus can help with lots of extra damage...  however if you want to know my ultimate pve assaulter pair, it's byaukua and ikkaku...  for pve you run byaukua's exclusive skill and ikkaku's regular skill, run 2x fury builders in the back row, and they both skill every round at high damage %, for pvp/void you can run byakua's reg skill and Ikkaku's exclusive skill for nice AOE damage from both, plus byaukua's death skill helps a ton as well
