Disclaimer: Before I start, I just wanna say, I love this game to death and if I ever get enough money, I will either buy this game / donate / create a spinoff. This game was a big part of my teenagehood. I started playing this game back in 2014, had to drop it for school, took it back in 2017, had to drop it again, and now I just got back into it about a month ago.
1. Pay To Win.
Pretty self-explainatory. But I will say, I do understand and respect that this game does not make alot of money for the time and effort that has been put into it (I think). Another thing is that alot of Events are focused more around the VIP players and from what I can see, that makes up 90% of the community and I can see why they want to focus on the majority, but I think events without gold would satisfy everyone.
2. Slow Progression
It is very hard to progress in the game. First day I've heard people could get to lvl 50 as f2p. I've personally never done it but it seems like the skilled players / has too much time players can do it with ease. After lvl 50, the game just goes too slow for me. I had this one account that I've played for a month and its only lvl 56. Maybe thats just me. I think that there should be new equipment and new partners every 5 levels and maybe a lil quicker as you progress in levels, but the exact opposite happens.
3. The Achievements
Quite an easy fix. All that needs to be done is not give the awards so low and useless. Like "Main Character Reaches Level 85" and the reward is green silver and exp book and 7 coupons. Like come on. I do apreciate the "Special Rewards Section" and that you can get Zanpakuto for rewards even though getting those zankpakuto is more expensive than recruiting a partner. Now I'm not saying overdo it with the rewards, because even though I want that, other people probably wouldnt.
4. The stages not giving enough exp.
For someone who does not get that much vitality, the stages give too little exp to compensate. I literally had to resort to using Instances to lvl up when I had no more vitality.
5. Vitality Itself
My personal opinion I hate the mechanic of vitality entirely, but what more people will probably agree on is that the Vitality Giving rate is so low. Also the Vitality Costs are so high. I can't find that many scenarios that are relateable to other players, but for me Trial takes too much vitality for its worth. I get 3 vitality every half an hour and it costs 9 vitality to clear a stage. I have to wait an hour and a half just to collect enough.
6. Gift Codes
Was this even a thing? I can't imagine finding a gift card with a gift code on it in an actual store. The only place I could find them was on a website that has nothing to do with gogames. I don't even know how that happened but I claimed a gift code in 2014 and what a surprise, they only had like 1500 codes available and they dissapeared fast. First of all, given freely and they had 1500 and not even from gogames.com . Second, the reward was so small. If I recall it was like a small amount of gold and something else that I quite can't remember but it was unsatisfactory. Not even a lvl 1 spirit stone box or anything like that.
7. Full Account History
This should be easily accessable to the player and the account. It's not like there are many hackers that are stealing accounts or something like that. ( I tried to use cheat engine. Tip: Doesn't Work) I literally had to email the support. Granted, I did recieve my answer in like a day or 2, but if anyone knows anything about any public game its that players will consider emailing the support a final resort. However I sent them a few more emails and I think they either got sick of responding or just got sick of me in general. What I want is a Ctrl-F type of thing where I can just search up a in-game player name and it will tell me of all the logs of all the servers and the last times they went on, so I can find my friends easily and see if they still play this game or not. One of my friend said he had no trouble with the thing that pops up under the "Start Game" button after you log in. However I did.
8. Friend List In-Game
This is not helpful at all besides the Jigokucho and going to their house and messing with their girlfriend which is a pretty weird topic in general. I should be able to check their profile and see how strong they are. I literally have to physically experiment how strong they are in the Arena because I can't find their information in the friends list. Wait a second, why am I talking about battling a friend? Because literally everyone is your friend. You friend everyone on the server if you know whats good for you because of the Recommended Friend Button. Out of context that seems so lame, but its literally to use them for your own gain. The only things they gain from it is maybe getting their Jigokucho to level up, but that's basically nothing. Also there is a 5 minute wait until you get to use the button, what? You never know when you should stop clicking it and adding more friends because there is no acccurate way to know how many players are playing the server. Maybe because they are trying to hide my next point.
9. Small amount of players
I have no accurate way of determining the number of people who play this game. But what I can say is that the forums have like no one talking on them. I'd wouldn't be surprised if this post gets a maximum of 5 responses.
10. Too much servers
For a game that I am 99% sure that has not that big of a playerbase, there are too much servers. The first server I played on what the 16th one from the US and I already thought that was a big number. Also the time it takes to make servers is inconsistent. I don't know what goes into coding these servers but they seem to be the exact same thing. Imagine copy and pasting. Thats what I feel like it is because no server is unique. And there is new ones like every 2-3 days from what I can tell, but if I was playing on the 16th one back in 2014 and now in 2018 there are 568 at the time of this video (Just from the US) the math doesnt add up.
11. Players moving on too quickly
People literally stop playing a server just to hop on to the newest server for some reason. People who spent money on the game, people who are f2p, people in the top 20, everyone. This is a really bad quality to have as a game. Consider Skyrim. People enjoy maxing out everything and then they restart. Now Skyrim is a high budget game and the budget of Bleach Online pales in comparison, but for something that is so long and stretched out to me, people are moving on too quickly.
12. Nothing to do sometimes.
Literally Once you've done all the daily tasks, there is practicly only one thing to do, which is wait for the daily events. I've literally looked at my screen for accumulated hours just waiting for my cooldowns to go down.
That's all for today. I will continue this at some point, because I am passionate about this game, but I feel like all my efforts will be wasted on just a few replies. Don't worry. I have a ton more.
