im new here i was just wondering are characters in the same tier the same basically? or are some better than others. for example lets say renji and kenapachi are both s tier assaulters. is there any reason to choose one over the other or is just preference?
Ye, their rating can help you abit in what to look for but it is mostly about growth rates and stats. Check what the skill does first and foremost and see if it can fit in your formation
Generally, the higher the ranking/tier of the partner, the higher their growth rates/base stats will be. Also, most partners of higher tier will have better skills and talent's then those of the lower tiers but you really can't decide on a partner solely on his/her tier. You should try to of what kind of setup you'll be going for and find what they can do to get you there.
