Kido characters that swing but do kido dmg? (DEV REPLY PLZ)

Is anyone else confused by how overpowered KIDO attacks are? and also why some people have KIDO attacks when clearly shouldnt be..
for example...
why is Momo and Rukia basic attack being buffed by wis and listed as KIDO? they are swinging with their swords... their only KIDO move should be their casts...
these 2 are nothing like Nanao or Inoue, which actually use KIDO attacks for their basic attack, therefore wis should effect both of theirs which it does...
i think they need to adjust characters that do a non-KIDO attack for their basic attack and list that basic attack as a different type of attack and be buffed by str not wis but then their actual spell will be buffed by wis and listed as KIDO type attack...

does anyone else agree on this? it's just common sense and basic... i think it should be fixed

can i get an opinion by one of the DEVs on this?

At higher levels, what type of damage your characters do isn't as important, it's more your formation, secondary abilities and speed. And technically the typing of kido Main characters and the support is strategic damage, not magic/kido damage. And at the end of the day its a double edge sword, all kido characters are super weak to physical damage, and momo herself isn't that useful, her chances of control are quite low (especially against enemies with higher levels), and her dmg rate when using said skill is only 50%. The problems I face with strategic dmg teams, are the same as physical. The only thing I think would be cool is to actually have more strategic damage assaulters, and physical supporters.

let me tell you this kido damage are not that great.. momo doesnt do damage with her atk assualter with 50% dmg rate.. well momo does hurt a lot if you put tons of wisdom and crit stone.

You can call a pancake a flapjack or even a hotcake or whatever, but it's still a pancake. Just because Ghost Blade and Spirit Blade have different names doesn't mean squat. They have the same stat progression, skill effects, and their damage type is physical. Everything they have is just renamed and given unique animations. Plus, look, ALL Vanguards are called "Manic Blade" as their "type" - doesn't change a thing about them (except for some possible theory I have, but completely guessing on it).

Like i said before, don't take the graphics too literally. Just because it shows her attacking with a sword doesn't mean that it is a strength based attack. Her class is Kido, so all her attacks - no matter how they appear - are Kido.
It has been confirmed that Kido main characters do have an advantage at the beginning of the game, but by the time people can recruit lvl 50 tavern partners (Momo) it shouldn't be so much an issue.

Momo is very similar to Karin from UN. Her basic hits can be very strong (with the right buildup)  ...

yea i kno .... but it just doesnt do justice when her SWORD attack is acting as if it's a KIDO attack type, same for the Mage main character...  they have an insane advantage due to the LACK of KIDO DEFENSE in the game
