What's the deal with Spirit Blade class?

I've been wondering... there's the ghost blade class that attacks physically. And there's the Kido type class, that attacks with kido/strategy attack.

And then there's the Spirit Blade class... but what are they there for? They attack physically too, right? But since there's already the ghost type class which does the same, there is not really a need for spirit blade class , isn't it?
So I've been wondering: what's the deal with Spirit blade type? What's special about them, what's makes it different from the other two classes besides the name, weapon and the mere fact that it is different?
I thought that it would be logically if they are some type of physically-kido-hybrid, but they aren't, right?
I just thought, that there must be some value to this class too, gameplay-wise. Otherwise, they are just plain useless and superfluous.

Any Ideas?


Oh, and another question on a side note: why would a vanguard need extra strategy attack, that almost every vanguard has a mod for strategy attack? It would make sense to me if it was strategy defense... but strategy attack?

TBH most spirit blade partners are garbage. The one exception I can think of is Shura kenpachi from Cross server. Ichigo does not even come close to Grimjow....that the silliest thing I have ever heard. Hes more usless than some purple characters like Tavern Renji.

The strategy attack thing on VGs is typo. Its actually strategy defense.  Spirit Blades are for peop ...

if you look at ichigo the first gold charater most ppl gets he has an advantage in speed (what weapon did he have again?  exactly...) and he can be compared with swp grimjow
on the other hand we have hard hitters like renji and cempachi using ghost blade
as for the main its no difference at all except apearence and skill names

This is the reason why I always play as f2p or low vip on 1 or 2 servers for 1-2 months before making my main and topping up bigtime on games like these

ghost balde has more hp and speed than spirit blade, the only diffrence between them honestly.
