**PLEASE HELP** - Bond - Gin requirement

Short and simple - please help!  How do I get to unlock Gin's first Bond upgradeable ability (+ speed)?  

I know I need Tosen, and I have already obtained 3 stars on stage #4, I just can't seem to figure out how to meet Gin's final requirement, the one indicating need to win and not have HP's above 50% of the total?  I can beat Conquest of Might on Hard, so I fully understand how complicated and misleading these requirements can sometimes be, I am hoping someone else who has completed it can give me some tips.

Thank you, thank you, thank you all.  I was finally able to beat the challenge based on the feedback and advice I got on here.  I did have to tweak it a bit further, even when main died and Gin had under 50% health, I still wasn't finishing the challenge.  So I put all of the stamina/HP stuff back on main (treasures, hogyokus and accessories) and then when main died with higher total HP and Gin dropped down it was enough to trigger the requirements for completion.

yup, all you need to do is just lower your damage, and see what kind of damage they do towards your party, strip down some defensive gears like stones and stuff... and slowly adjust to it. It's pretty easy.

myungdae got it right. I just did shin gin's first mod which has the same requirement. I had to finish the fight with under 50% of the total hp of my party. which basically meant my main had to die and gin had to lose some hp too.

1) I need to change formation to only my main and Gin
2) ...

1 - Take everything out including zanpakuto (leave gin and main only)

2 - For example if your total health ( Gin's health + Main's health) is 1 million then you need to end the fight with your health BELOW 500 thousand.

Hrm, say that again?  Are you saying that
1) I need to change formation to only my main and Gin
2) I need to make sure that either Gin or Main's health is no greater then 50% total HP?  Is it Gin's health or my Main's health that cannot be greater than 50% total HP?

Just read the last part, the first part is always that character and main ONLY, so only those two... de-materialize your zanpakuto. The last part is what you need to look at. It's either HP cant be higher/lower than **% or Damage cannot be lower or higher than **%
