Stark build

For some reason I'm starting to think I'm building stark incorrectly. Currently I have a defensive set up on him (yes i know he's an offensive vanguard) just i feel like if i switch to more offense it might make him squishy seeing as zangetsu is my main zanpakto and I don't have senbon or hyorinmaru.

My current stones on him are : str/wis/sta/counter/block/hit

On all his gear I have str/sta/block stats

Any suggestions as to how else to build him? or am i on the right path

If i take out counter stones wouldn't that increase my risk of being critted on?

Try 6 strength, 6 block, 6 stamina, 6 hit or less if reached closer to 190% hit rate, 6 break def, 6 crit

Not sure How I'm gonna fit in crit stones...if i take out hit...his hit rate drops massively. If i sacrifice break def...he never lands a hit without being blocked. Lol confused

Thing is I'm on route for a more offensive VG seeing as I'm planning to switch to SWP Kenny whenever i get him(1 month away)

Thanks for the tips on Hollow map, it's gonna take a few months to get that high hit rates

Anyway, I used Starrk so far in map with Tengen, so I don't see Zangetsu being a problem, he could always use Tengen.  I noted about map because a few weeks ago I did the same. Fused some stones to get some slots, without considering map/pve and it was great mistake.

About Starrk being offensive VG and having low wisdom growth rates I completely agree. Yet usiing Zangetsu  his dmg is -40%, he will need too much effort to have any real damage, thus I believe making a bit more tanky is better. Anyway, still best choice for him is to get Hichigo who can synergy with his Zangetsu and  stay on a defensive VG route.

Ok I'll scrap his wisdom stones then but now I'm confused as where the hit rate part comes in. Currently his hit rate is at 183% with 6 level 6 hit rate stones. When you said merge what exactly did you mean. Also would using SWP Ken with zangetsu in hollow souls be a good idea? Or should i then work on getting senbon/hyorin instead?

Yeah definitely. I thought about mentioning that too, but from the original post I got the feeling he's not gonna be going socket crazy so i didn't even bring it up.

That hit rate is wasted once you kill Aizen, cause with 220% I'm not even close to hitting first m ...

Btw since you mentioned Aizen, it took me about 250% hit for first minion, 280% hit for second minion, and 320% hit for Aizen himself. Just to give you an idea of what you'll need for each one.
