I just started playing this game about a week ago and have gotten to level 50. I feel like I have a good general idea about how I should be doing things to progress and make my characters stronger. However, sometimes I wonder if I am focusing on the right things since players up to 5 levels lower than me can sometimes beat me. Hopefully the really knowledgable players can maybe help me out a bit. I'm sure I'm not the only one that isn't really sure what to work on.

Here is my current perception of what is the most significant things to prioritize.

1. Reiatsu
2. Gear (emphasizing weapon)
3. Refine
4. Reinforce
5. Zanpakuto
6. Soul Stones
7. Hogyuko
8. Infuse
9. Rank
10. Party Character Levels

I probably missed a few minor things, but those are what I could think of right now.

Only 5% difference, but that must not be his base hp, something's will add after soul stones and some before and take advantage of the +%

Here my Priority depending on my funds I have at the current time

1. Spirit Stone - this is what will make or break the game for you and will pretty much be one of the key factors in battle for both PVP and PVE. Yeah it sucks if you can't afford stones with gold all the time but its worth the effort investing into in the long run of things

2. Partners - You may need a certain partner to pass a certain part at the higher levels weither it be King of Hollow Souls or Seiretai Palace. certain partners can only get you so far before you need to replace them with someone better.

3. Equipment - this should be a major prioraty as bad enforced gear can be a the major killer for you in a PVP match. it can get really expensive at the higher levels but the pay off is well worth it in the end

4. Reiatsu - this isn't a big Prioaty for me personally as you can increase this at any time but if you have the extra silver or pills in your inventory then this is well worth spending it on

the rest of what you have listed isn't much of a prioraty for some players but this is mostly opinion and this is just my 2 cents on the whole thing so I hope my info at least helps

Its actually like 40% lower than it should be which isn't all that close. The math seems simple. 18448 * 1.04 * 1.04 * 1.02 * 1.01 * 1.01 * 1.01. What am I missing?

Your math was wrong somewhere I guess, or it just rounded it off weirdly. It's close enough that it shouldn't matter.

I'm even more confused. I am using Sado as my tank. With no stamina soul stones his HP is 18448. I have 2x 4%, 1x 2%, and 3* 1% stones. That should put him at 20969 just doing the math. However, in game he only has 19894. What happened?

You'd rather have one stat with 6 lvl 6's like str than a bunch of lvl 2's and 3's imo if you can't do them all.

What is the best way to buy soul stones? A ton of 3% ones or a couple really big ones?

It only matters if you are vip6+ where you get a better deal buying lvl1 stones.
