8th skill

i remember hearing somewhere the 8th skill buffs the person "left of main", what does that mean exactly? buffing the support? the assault above/below main?

also i dont have 9th skill yet, should i keep using 8th with isshin?

actually i seen my isshin fail a combo once, but i didnt save the battle as proof

I've never seen/heard of it ever failing to combo

why is it wasted? isshin only gives 35% combo rate, 8th will give one assault 1.5 times the dmg compared to with isshin's combo rate.

8th skill is wasted with main,  go with 5th IMO
