Once I upgrade him to Pantera will his evolves Ive done disappear?

Also, as Shin is he better PvE wise than tavern Renji? I tried replacing Renji in ES with him today and lost some damage, running Rukia and Kisuke as supports. Granted Renji has a few more evolves on him, but stil.. seemed like a pretty decent difference

Thanks! I think I need to just work on his evo and catch it up a bit, be nice when we can mod them as easy as tavern.
