Thinking of running Hikifune + urahara in the back (cant afford t1 unless I have urahara) isshin or kensei in front with main and just w/e van until I get SWP kempachi. Im also thinking of getting B. Renji for pve.

Who is better overall? Kensei or Isshin? Why?

And as a side note what Zanpa should I get? (cant afford tensa) This is for both pve and pvp so I don't wanna be switching. Right now I have Hyorin and Zabi. Thinking of getting either Zangetsu or Muramasa

Your opinions will be greatly appreciated. I cant afford the more expensive stuff and im trying to have a good team that's good for endgame pvp/pve.

I think Kensei is way better than Isshin in the long run, higher growth+base as well as his Bonds mean that he gains a noticable degree of survivability when going to PvE without VG, which you'll most likely do if you get Brenji anyway.

Since I have a tough competition on my server, I currently run Ichibe(->shini yoruichi, which I plan to replace with Senjumaru if priced reasonably or CSB kenny), kensei, main, hikifune and oetsu. Otherwise I'd most get Brenji with kensei and use Tenjiro instead of oetsu... which I could do anyway, but I just kinda like oetsu's failsafe mutiliate... and Tenjiro's bugged evo bugs me.

the question is a mid range char with bigger skill growth rate are lower than a high end char with lower skill growth rate?

I just wish I had Mugetsu's 15% block to all allies mod. I can see places where that would be extremely handy.

how did that go against wave 70+ ryoka? do you use VG for that?

Just fine honestly. You do need over 1mil HP to handle wave 70+ and Renji will last all 5 rounds. I'm boosting up Kensei so he can keep giving Renji his combo he needs to finish. Right now Kensei is at 919k HP and its random if he dies so i'm upping reinforce for both of them actually. Ryoka never gets to the supporters. I could actually run 3 2 very well right now if I wanted and would pass up 70 or maybe even 71.

If I did a PVP team I would just move out Uno and put Oetsu or Kirinji at this point. IF you look deeper into my team setup Renji has 90% block and Kensei is moving up with block also. SOOOOOO if you even attack my line  there is a good chance you will die anyways before getting to the supporters. The assaulter line is the power hitters of this whole setup. You can take out the supporters but that is a really bad move spending your move on my support. I think either way it will always never be a true win because block will just kill anyone randomly haha
P.S that is if the fighter has low break

My plan near the start was to be kido, but building up in PVE requires strength, so it can be a good place to start

At this point, I would ideally just use a 0-2-3 formation. Even my main is kido lol
