Stark it you need phisical AoE and Hollowed Ichigo if you don't. And save Vit for any van in UBP.

Sajin is best f2p tank, but his attack blows. HMA Kenny only takes VIP, but no gold, and is best PVE vang period. Even as first rank he's decent in pve I believe. Norialta is best control vang. Soph may well show up in ubp or something similar and is far better than starrk or h ichi IMO

Without VIP I would say in Order of your leveling progression. Sado > Sajin > H.Ichigo. Without somewhat decent stones / Hyrin. Stark is kinda off limits, but you could maybe make him work (I only ever used him with level 7-9 stones so couldn't say from F2P stand point).

Note though that as of yet there have never been a vanguard in the UBP.
