Anniversary event question

If I spent gold to add certain items do I get points for the gold I spent to get those items or do you only get points for spending gold to open the shells?
Asking because there are a few things I want, plus I want Shinso Gin but only have 20K gold. Don't want to add the items if I cannot get the points for them as well.

level 87...  still  not as bad of speed as I thought, but you still need to work on her, lol   good job!!

and truth be told (Not to cause some butthurt or anything)  but a Hikifune with a speed of 114k is very sluggish...    My Isshin, Shinso, and Tenjiro are all over 190k...  and I'm using Muramasa as my Zanpacto...   20k gold to spend?  wait for visored revenge, spend it all on Agi stones...  ALL OF IT!!  If your Hikifune is less than 300k speed, she's a snail... Evo her hard and make her T1, pull your vanguard for another assaulter, FSU!!  My Tenjiro, with nothing on him that boosts speed probably outspeeds your hikifune bro...

Still even for stones, I would rather get Retsu/Isshin/Mura/Senbo/Zangetsu/ or most likely t12 hog ...

I already have Tensa Zangetsu, so I'm set on Zanpakto. Isshin I thought about but may just pick him up from Lease event.

I wanted her too. But for the price I was iffy in the end because she didn't fit my current formation.

I ended up getting Gin, and a bunch of spirit stones. Even tested the waters on the lvl 40 water set which was a waste in the end smh.

Gin really helped me though, was able to beat 2nd vanguard on Espada 1 finally. Though Stark himself is a bastard. I can kill his team, in the end its left with just my TS Ichigo and him. But by then Ichigo is so low on health he just kills him. -_-
