Top Up Advice needed, quickly if possible.

So I'm looking at dropping $500 to get back into this on the newest Facebook server and was wondering if the current set of events is worth it, or if I should wait for a Pyramid event. The current events would yield a total of 70% Rebate on 20k Gold + All the stuff you get from single top up, accumulative, etc, etc. My question is, is it better to have 35kish gold and no event partners or only 20-24k Gold and a partner from Pyramid? I'm not exactly sure how the Reio Furance works, do you use the points for the rebate, or do you keep them and you can use them on the boxes?

Wait for Ultimate charge if you top up the most and win it then you get a 100% rebate plus whatever the normal rebate is at the time.  Only thing is you risk someone spending more than you and beating you to first place.

You spend points for the rebate on furnace, I can't help you on the topup since I'm new tho.
