Which events allow us to obtain socket stone drill thingos? Are they only obtainable from events?

Cheapest would be Reio and SA.
Getting them in Witch's house cost quite a lot.. believe me

Reio Guardian first day can get u 10 socket stones universal just complete all 4 task which isn't hard is the best I believe

Oh yeah. There is a socket stone you can get in the Seireitei Attack prize shop once per day. It doesn't add up to many in the end, but they are still free. 10 in 10 days. On the same note, you can also get another 10 socket stones for cheap on the first day of Reio Guardian.

These help, but if you are in need of a lot of them quickly, Witch's House seems to be the cheapest if you buy the symbols directly. About 133 gold each or something.

I have seen holiday events where you could get 10 of them for 1k gold, but I'm not sure when they will do that again. o.O I don't think I've seen it recently unfortunately, which sucks.

You can also purchase them in Anniversary Feast, but if you are aiming only for them, I think Witch's House is better.

You can get non-universal socket stones from Soul Culitvation point shop for free, but I wouldn't say they are necessarily worthwhile.
