New Servers and Spenders

Scenario as it stands; I've played in 4 other servers (1being my main) but they all end up going dead with 2 weeks all for the same vocalized reason - 'spenders.' I'm just now leaving EU-320 because someone showed up no more than 1 day ago, dropped at least 600 dollars, bought a winning SS-SSS team. Same scenario for the last 2 I attempted. Umm... Is this how it goes for every other server?! The guy/gal showed up 2 days ago (thank god), but the fun quickly ended today. US 261, I left back in early Jan, ended with the spender ruling all normal events (Protect S.,Ryoka, Evil Sp., Guild W.). Left nothing much for anyone else to grind and get anywhere. The one before that ended the same way.

Does this happen in every single server?! I've been seeking good beginner competition for a while; I can put up with someone spending 50-100, but dropping enough for an entire SS-SSS team within 1 week... What'sthe point of me staying?! Better question: What's the point of me visiting anew server if this is the norm for all new servers? Is there a balance I'm not seeing?

If you want to be able compete from the start at low VIP i'd recomend top up to vip 4 on first day and get ya Kirinji + Shinigami agent. He's worthless for an SSS partner, but still his growth will help ya 1 shot ryokas and do decent damage on spirit. Then get ya Kisuke + Ikkaku from tavern as fast as you can. On my first server i was ahead of an vip8 player in pve events. Altrough back then all event partners were a loot less hardcore compared to current crazy stuff so it was easier to compete for low vips.

That's actually an interesting idea. I'd kind of like to see how strong the OG's are.

they'll belong in the first 50 odd servers in the EU/US regions

most are afk, and the special one or 2 in each server are still there, but may not even be topping up, just actively playing freely or simply afk

it is indeed cool to see them though, won't lie about that haha ^^

There are weak csb like mine ...one guy got oetsu and
now he is first just like that so if you want to be first
its going to be easy in mine csb and in top 10 there is
1 oetsu and thats all no hikifune only kirinjis

Yeah, learned a fraction of patience with my main as well. Building the proper team to take on others above me (spenders) in my main server is... fun. Well, the planning is fun. Feels good to know that 1 Extra Round will net me a win against 3 players in front of me, though it's a rare occurrence.

If you want to start on a new server, it would probably be best to wait for an event cycle that is really bad.  The current cycle has great rebates when mixed with Ultra Hero, Bankai Power and Shinigami Fund.  So making a good team with the current event cycle is going to easier with all the gold and coupons you get back from just topping up.  

It is not too uncommon for someone to top up with a good to great team then stop playing.  The server my alt is on had 2 people that had mostly red partners that just stopped playing.  At that time my main was about 95(now 142) and the number 1 and 2 were level 91 and 77(they are still the same levels).  The number 3 on my main's server also has great partners plus Katen, and he rarely logs in.  The previous #1 in our CSB also stopped playing about a month ago.

I think the best thing would be to have realistic goals with the server and your team.  I still like using my alt, but I don't expect it to be #1 since I wont top up as much as I did for my main.  There are some F2P players that have been playing for a long time, it just requires a lot more patience.

Eh, maybe I'll just server surf until I find what I'm looking for. Golden egg gotta be out there, somewhere!

It shouldn't be a problem for Ryoka unless you have over 5 people that can 1-hit kill the Ryoka.  If you can't kill the Ryoka in 1 hit, the problem is your team is too weak for the rounds you are dying in.  My main's server has about 5-6 people that can stay going until about round 40, then after that only my team and the #2 can keep going without dying.

My alt is too weak to kill the Ryoka, but it is still a good source of xp when I actually do the event.  I don't think my alt has ever killed one.  My main hasn't reached a round that she couldn't 1-hit the Ryoka.
