Using Ryuujin in CSB and Void

That doesn't mean go buy a Ryuujin just because. Ryuujin is not best for everyone. Consider your team's build and whether it's worthwhile. I personally did just fine with Katen in the second video.

As a note, shields are still currently bugged. They are supposed to clear mutilate/burn on activation, and it appears as if they do, but you still lose HP invisibly, leading to certain characters appearing alive when they are actually dead. GG

That wasn't the only time the match just ended with Mayuri having HP left.  All the BR's I watched when I did more than 30m damage ended the same way, that one was the best with how many blocks he had.  I wonder if it is another bug with his poison where the game thinks the poison damage is reducing his HP.  His 7th mod has 3 other bugs that I've found so far.  

My Nemu prevented Bankai Rukia from using her skill, so I didn't get to see her Mutilate.

I'm not sure why he dies prematurely in this fight, but I found Bankai Rukia to be really buggy today, myself. Not only did her mutilate not always take effect on skill, but there were certain points where she did not skill anymore and just kept gaining fury.

Cool, so they can actually be blocked.

This was the best one today.  He had 7 official blocks, but the last hit he also blocked, but the match ended with him still having some HP left.  You can see the block animation on the last hit by Rukia, but the match just ends.  This was my highest total damage in VR at about 36m damage.

She's got a lot of defense potential. Even her final mod helps in Void Region. You'll probably want to put the defense enchant on your weapon as well if you haven't already.

It's also a good idea not to have hit rate on her either. While mine could tank a lot of shots from her defense increase as HP drops mod, if she healed enough, her defense would go back down. All it would take is one round of blocks to kill her at just the right moment. Unlike regular enemy attacks, in between blocks, her defense won't increase with HP drop until all the blocks are finished.

Of course, you can probably do with hit rate if you have enough defense for it or are just hoping to be lucky.

The most blocks I've had was 4 of 6 attacks blocked, that was against one of the Grimmjow teams.  I strip Mayuri of all hit stones and fury stones so he doesn't hit them or use his skill.  His skill gives 30% defense and that overwrites Ryujin's 150% one, so it is better if he doesn't skill in VR for me.

I am thinking of putting mods into Kukaku next to see if she can last longer than Mayuri.  Your Kukaku took so many hits in your video.
