Top-up is KILLING this game.

This is an epic game for bleach fans.  It is very enjoyable and doesn't seem to get old/repetitive (yet).  However, since joining Us30 the number of players has gone downhill rapidly.  Now there is talk of server merging to combat this.  This might only be a temporary solution.  People are leaving this game and will continue to do so because of the extremely unfair advantage you get from spending real money.  There is virtually no limit to the amount of money you can pour into this game.  There needs to be some kind of cap if it doesn't already exist or the current cap should be dramatically cut down.  I donated a little because I believe this game was designed well and I like to show appreciation but I am mostly a ''free to play'' player.  I believe there can be a much better balance that allows for a more competitive gameplay.  Or have you thought about this....how about a 'free to play' server only?  A server where you cannot top up.  Thoughts???

It's not top up that's killing the game, it's the prices.
If I remember correctly, CN servers get THREE TIMES (3x)!!! the gold we do for buying. On top of that, their event partners/zanpakutos are much cheaper. Remember Shinji? 20,000 gold (more if unlucky, less if very lucky). Barely anyone at all bought that whatsoever. However, if gold was priced the same as CN, and partners were priced the same as well (6k gold-10k gold), a lot more people would have bought Shinji. If they were even cheaper than that, you'd have EVEN MORE buyers! It's time to stop price gouging, gogames. I am prepared to spend a lot more if the prices for gold and partners/zans matched those above or better, but I don't think I will if they remain the same, as I don't feel that I am getting good value for my dollar. I didn't spend any of my gold for any of the halloween events except a hundred or so on the tree. The partner was RIDICULOUSLY overpriced, and the title was competitive spending against other players: no thanks. Come to think of it maybe even the tree was overpriced too for what you got out of it

I really can't say this enough, but I will keep trying, because this game would do so much better with reasonable pricing.

They could use the F2P server as a testbed.

Test all game changes with F2P players, kind of a beta, and apply those changes to the paying customers when they work properly.

They get free testers, F2P players get to play for free, Cashers get a more polished game and less failures. Everybody wins.

But then Cashers would cry because they don't have F2P players to crush with their wallets.

I even got some wanting me banned for being VIP and being a PGm.... it's not like they can't top-up themselves, or buy a couple vip levels it's not that hard they probably spend more cash complaining than enjoying the game.

thank god the mergers and xserver fights are close to being here... can only hope that it balances servers where people wont be crying about the VIP members so much

it's the cashier who puts there foot in the bills for other leecher to play duh
