Yes because adding a new server takes less time then translating and incorporating new events into game which they probably have two teams doing servers and the other translating/bug fixes it takes time and i bet they can only put in game what is from the original game.

Just like most online games, there will be new events. Just be patient and wait for the current set of them to finish.

There will surely be new ones in the future. But don't expect anything anytime soon. Admins just got the game up and running and now they're trying to smooth out the bugs before they start adding new stuff.
