Tengen would really help you in terms of survivability rate & he pretty much suits in some vanguards like Yachiru & etc.. But I definitely prefer Kazeshini overall in terms of competing.

im not saying otherwise im just saying if you plan to build a strong vanguard and/or hope/intend the fight to last longer then 2 rounds then tengen is a great choice

I prefer kaze still. Toshi still does full damage on blocks which could kill most SP depending on the players. Kaze is the ultimate free pvp zanpakuto, no two ways about it

up untill i started holding vit for next event with tengen my vanguard could solo anyone my own lvl
and i was in arena with ppl 10+ my own level struggling to kill me
tho i suppose it does help that i have toshi so when useing tengen he is almost another assaulter who can almost never be hit and when he does most often counterattacks

Your VG should be able to hold off the enemy just fine with the 40% hp boost from kazeshini with the added benifit of killing your opponent faster than you would with tengen. Remember kaze doesn't just increase your attack and speed, it also decreases you enemy's assault's attack.

kaze has no benefits for vanguard so unless u rely on one shotting the enemy before they even see you comeing tengen is good if your vanguard is a useful member of your team

I leveled evertyhing to Hyogyoku kai, just to see what they look like ._.
