ive tried looking around the forum but still dont really understand how it works. anyone can explain it to me? also with the tavern update are the special war powers even still worth it? i really have no idea what partner set up i should use anymore.

The advanced modify is really simple. When your partner has some useless mod you can exchange it on one of new mods which offers some extra stats( to see how they look click on advanced modification and you will see red text "After", click on it and you will see every stats you can get). To advance modify you need 20 coupons and 20 advanced modify fragments (they're in tavern) and then you will get random bonus, when you will get bonus you're interested in (for example block) click on padlock (so that it is closed) and you will only get bonus of the type you have just with different numbers (so you can increase % without worrying that you will get another bonus). About swp, with advanced modify noza is even better than before

so yeah, he's totally worth it. Grimmjow as 6th mod has +21% damage rate so he also is great for PvE (in comparison to tavern partners). IMO rest of swp partners was already outdated before update. Hope that everything what I wrote is clear
