That's also possible to get him from reio guardian in 7th day, depending on luck your friend can get him for different price but if he beats hiki every time before doing auto-win then it won't be more expensive than 3600 gold and if he is lucky he can get it cheaper of course(for example if he beats kirinji every time before doing auto-win then it will be 2700 gold) . Good thing in this is that he can also get other rewards from reio guardian like for example sexy yoruichi (great for PvE) and relampago set (what would be good if he is low lvl). If he is going to get it as cheap as possible then it would be best to wait for next reio tho.

Cheapest Ryukin Jakka was going for 40k gold during Christmas, all the events after Christmas that Ryujin Jakka appeared have all been 60k gold flat on spending.And cheapest zanpakutos are the free ones you get by lvling up =D
