Zanpacto Bonuses

Today I was messing around and came across something that blew my mind...

The following pics were taken today, of the same partner, and the only difference is I changed Zanpactos and refreshed the page...



the speed seems to scale about where I'd expect, but that strat attack kind of blows me away...   sogyo is giving 4k from fortifys and gives 21% more than Hyorin does, yet with Hyroin my attack is noticably higher...  I put muramasa here to show how he scales too as the other well fortified zan I have to make sure it wasn't just sogyo or Hyorin...




just to show how much is comming from this, Hyorin only gives def and HP from this so I didn't post a pic of that

Is this normal and I am missing something or is this something else all together?

further testing...   with my Byaukua, his physical attack only goes up 4,000 between Hyorin and Sogyo...  again, Hyorin has no physical attack bonus for assaulters anywhere listed on him...   I"m really starting to wonder here...   TSI's attack went UP by 4k when i swapped from Hyorin to Sogyo...

Hyorin is a badass. ive noticed the same thing as you have its got no speed upgrade and its faster then the ones i have that do have it.

the answer was already put...  the damage rate I read wrong to mean attack power, I was wrong...

the BP change was almost totally from speed and reiatsu bonus...

it makes Hyorin a MUCH better zan than I was thinking...  not near as big a handicap for my team as I thought he was

Growth Rate is Higher for the following stats Speed/agi, Attack, and HP/Stamina. you can do an easy test with a low level hogyoku to determine how much BP is affected by the stats themselves using smaller integers.

provide a better example first off is what my first thought was, atleast provide some form of data between zanpakuto you have as proof of your point.

First the zanpakuto class explains the higher range of BP you can gain.
Next, if they are  the same class you look at the Growth Rates for each Zanpakuto
Then, Compare the bonuses that they can gain and see how much BP you gain for one level of that stat increase seen as Battle Power.Rinse and repeat and you will have your answer.

checked this myself with speed as the main thing i was looking at

for ultima it barely changed whi ...

this makes sense to only apply in battle but you have them materialized so it should be showing the proper stat bonuses and increases in the partner menu, if it doesn't it is considered a bug.

his attack did not go up when switching to Sogyo, atk is 431k with Hyo. and 428k with Sogyo. The attack went down. check the Zanpakuto Growth Rate. That's another factor.

I  still am interested if anyone has the actual algorithm to the game's damage logic.

Doesn't seem to be a bug, plus revs never see anything on forums anyway

sogyo gives 21% damage rate tho, not attack, those are different stats
as for why shinso has high ...

...  21% damage rate, not attack...    that makes sense and its disappointing for me to not have caught that...
Reiatsu bonus difference...  again, good catch, and again, disappointing I didn't catch that either...


thanks for helping to fix that baking noodle I had going on there!!   so I wonder what my pve damage will do with Hyorin vs Sogyo...   still wager Sogyo will be higher but it's for sure worth a look!!
