Which team should I aim for out of these two?

Team 1: (Vanguard) Shinji, My character, Kensei, SWP Shin Toshiro  (Base), and Shinigami Yoruichi.
Team 2: (Vanguard) Toshiro, My Character, Kensei, Shinigami Shinji, and Yoruichi (Level 70 tavern)
     I am aware that Ikkaku, Komamura, and others are more powerful but Kensei is my favorite character, Toshiro and Shinji's special attack tends to help in my ideal strategy. I don't intend on switching any of the characters until maybe level 100 or higher, and I'll be aiming for the Hyourinmaru zanpakuto since I want an offensive vanguard.

if theres a way to get rid of shini shinji for someone else like shini yuroichi or sexy yuro... then the 2nd alternative.

If just for fun it really doesnt matter. However, if its for pvp i dont see either of these teams being viable. Here is some advice think of a strategy that works without any agi investment then think of how to make it work with agi investment.

coz u r fightin ur own opponent... so i guess u should know a lil better which is better....

others will just gif u general info base on ur formation coz they dunno who is ur opponents n wat form they r using...

I don't really do pvp, but I liked shini. Shinji due to attacking all enemies, preventing CC + countering debuffs on my assaulters. Correct me if I'm wrong about  that character though. So if I replaced shini shinji with shini yoruichi who could I have as supporter (I don't like doubles of characters, and prefer 1-3-1 formation)?

in the all that matters is that you beat your rivals, there are plenty of different strategies and are good in their own way ^^ look at who your "rivals" are and see what changes you need to beat them
