What is the best soul skill to upgrade for the ghostblade class.   AKA THIS GUY

Generally it's recommended to upgrade 9th skill for events and 10th skill for pvp

The best skill upgrades are the same for all classes. Upgrade 10th skill for PVP and 9th or 8th for PVE aka ryoka attack and Evil Spirits. Upgrade 9th skill for if your not using sogyo no kotowari as your zanpakuto. Upgrade the 8th skill if you are using sogyo no kotowari as your zanpakuto. Hope this helped you out

May I ask why they keep saying to upgrade 8th with sogyo?  I'm just curious.  I've heard many say that, but is there like a reson why 8th and sogyo?  Since I don't have sogyo, I can't check sogyos stats

The reason that you shouldn't use sogyo with the 9th skill is that its skill adds 10% attack to your team for 3 rounds. There are certain things that just don't stack in this game and attack % is one of those things so the 9th skill and sogyo's skill just override each other rendering it useless. That is why it is highly suggested to use the 8th skill instead.

ah, ok, since i don't have sogyo i couldn't noticed what his skill does.  I

believe also that 9th skill and renjis skill don't stack too.  So I guess I"d be better off replacing renji with grimmjow, since I already have ikkaku
