Hit Rate and Break Defense for ES/Ryoka?

Do they matter at all for these events?

Break defense matters. That I know for sure at the very least at ryoka where I had to put some break def on my shin shura ken so he doesnt kill himself by getting blocked. Hit I dont know. I read somewhere on this forum that you dont need any additional hit for ryoka and ES but I have never tried that so I dont know if that is true or not.
I personally would be interested in knowing if I need hit for ES because if not I could switch it for some block stones instead, otherwise I dont really have space for that.

That's actually the entire point behind my post. I just spend 1,000 gold to get a bunch more block stones to spread to my assaulters now that I have Kisuke and can use a 2-3 for ES especially. As I know ryoka can be tougher.

The problem arises with what to replace Block with. Speed would be the obvious choice. But I need to keep the exact balance I have so that everyone can go T1 together.

Maybe if I remove 3 hit and 3 break defense? Definitely something I'm going to think on before ES in 3 hours.
I'll post back here with results. I'm currently doing around 2,8% damage per hit or anywhere from 300 to 350,000 silver per hit.
