What does break defense really do?

What does break defense really do?
My Komamura got 5 tier motify which is " Bankin Break " ( immune to breaking ) but does it function as it said?

Negates block, meaning that that there's a reduced chance(well mainly vg's since they have high block rates) that any partner would block you(returns a certain % of dmg back at you)

So thats mean Komamura 5th tier motify is immune to break, he should block all the way, but instead i dont see that happen at all.

No i think (well if i interpreted it right) that if you have 5th mod on sajin that he will not receive any damage if attacks anyone and gets blocked

5th mod on komamura if I recall correctly is stated as giving you a natural 100% counter rate. You can check by taking off his gear and then take a look at his counter rate, it should be 100 even though you have no stones on him. It's nice because you'll pretty much never get hit by a crit on him
